Restaurant

The estate offers an intimate fine dining a la carte restaurant available for resident guests and casual dinners. Lodge chef's never fail to delight diners with our classic fresh country cuisine.

Fresh local produce is complimented with lodge make sauces and seasonal greens and herbs from the kitchen garden.

Quality is assured with our beef and lamb dishes having been awarded the highest culinary standard – the Hallmark of Excellence Award in 2006, 2007 & 2008. Seasonal menus are created offering a balanced mix of dishes with something for everyone.


The lodge is fully licensed and meals are complemented with a select range of New Zealand wines and a well stocked bar. Before or after dinner the bar and billiards room provides the perfect place to gather and socialise.

During the month winter months casual dining is not available but we do still cater for groups, both inhouse and local.
